Get enough sleep, massage your scalp.

Get a lot of iron and protein in your diet (not pills), the best method is through supplements (multivitamin tablets). If you suffer from dandruff as well, try a 2% Ketoconazole medicated shampoo and maybe take an antifungal tablet once a week(get it prescribed by a doctor).
To protect hair, one of the best practice is to shampoo only when hair is dirty. Because fine hair gets dirty faster, people with fine-textured hair need to shampoo more frequently even though fine hair breaks more easily. For that reason, fine-textured hair benefits from a good shampoo and volume-building conditioner.
